At age 6:

Mom: Please, stop watching Tom & Jerry

Me: Why?

Mom: What can you learn from a cat chasing a mouse all day. They don't even talk.

Me: It does!

Mom: Yeah, in your mind. You're going crazy.

Now:

Mr Bak: Did you say something?

Me: No. Why?

Mr Bak: I thought I heard you talking to yourself

Me: Huh? Did I? No way.

Mr Bak: Yeah, you said "Raymond, please pass the spade"

Me: Oops.
