It happened at borrowed space II

"I'm not wasting time here," I snapped defensively to cover the guilt for using Ash's desk since lunch. "I'm just consuming."

"I know. I'm digesting," he said.

No kidding, it feels good to borrow someone else's space sometimes. The neighborly exchanges can be petty but it's ok.

It makes me write. Such as now.

It happened at a borrowed space I

I sense an intense stare from Anuar across the partition...

"You and I have a lot of things in common", he said, referring to Kobain's unplugged version of About A Girl coming out from my speakers

I glanced at him suspiciously and ask, "You are Rese...you are Mr Present Tense, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am. I'm blogging anonymously to fuck up your mind..." he replied

"You wanna send me to the asylum right?", I asked.

"Yes, but I won't sleep with you", he said.

Ade's Ink

I hate, hate, hate voice automated machines. The outcome is always, never fruitful.

400% censorship

Bearbricks x Swoosh = 180 Malaysian designers and my humble tribute to the bears that didn't make it by the corporate rules.

p/s: I'm collecting as I go, so 'bear' with me with the credits. I welcome contribution to this collection.

Copylogy

God speed! Shortly after the i-Phone craze, we have the i-Clone faze.

Meizu Minione M8 phone is manufactured in China and it looks like an iPhone, with the touch screen technology and Windows applications. It's coming out end 2007, first in China, then America and Europe markets. I'm not in awe with the speed of copylogy but on the timing of marketing launch, it makes business sense to reap the desires of those who can't attain the i-Phone. It also makes me wonder...is it cooler to be an inventor or an innovator?

Ray says neither...they are imitators.

Gotta love the Chinese and their knock-offs.

Today in history

4:45pm

"I see romance in everything" thought bubble forming into a big story

Thought poker from behind, "Eh blogger, stop dreaming"

Confession of a wanna-be geek

To say we are not prideful creatures are wrong. In all of us, there are some. Admittedly, I am one.

This is the proof. No, it’s not mine. It belongs to ‘anonymous’ (I am not allowed to reveal the source for security reasons)

Getting my hands on this ‘xclusive gem’ only reinforces that I’m not the gadget geeko I hope to be. Yeah, I was excited but only a short while between Address and Map functions. After that, I didn’t know what else to do with the phone, except to wait for AWE.

Sadly, it couldn’t come fast enough before ‘Big Dan’ (my colleague) snatched it from my hands. Now I tell you, watching his child-like excitement was AWESOME. The smile on his face and the anticipation in his eyes confirms only one thing.

APPLE got it right. The i-Phone was made from the heart, not the factory. Why?Because he worked the phone as if he’d owned it for years.

Was it really the phone that matters or the experience of being with the phone? Watching myself watching him, there’s no need to wonder. A good product design is a piece of good advertising.

More narcissistic than yesterday

Hey you!

Yes! You

You! The one worn-off by the gloomy rainy drainy weather today
You! The witness of 2007 post-dyfunctional, everything-digital year
You! The salvager who craves for prep of order

You! Do it with me.
Thrash the scrap blotters of all 6 pockets in your bag. Smoothen every note written and conveninently folded to fill up gaps of in-betweens. Wipe the dirt off the silver lining of your makeups and what's underneath the miniature Targus mouse.

After that, pay homage to 1990 where love was once, CHEEEEEEEEEEESYYYY.

I love cheese and I love chessy.
So today, my king of cheese is Timmy Thomas.
Not ringing a bell yet?

"And I was dying inside to hold you,
I couldn't believe what I felt for you,
I was dying inside but I couldn't bring myself to touch you"

Go ahead, it's in there. Inside your PANASONIC brown box of old CDs. While flipping through dusk-feel covers, make sure you pay extra care to inhaling the aromatic deadair born inside the box during the last 15 years. Everybody own one of those Romantic Love compilation Season 4, given by your crushgeek or with saved-up allowance your mama gave.

See it? That's what cheesy is. Cheesy like, cheesy feel. And fuck all who think that it'll not be following us into 2008. Wanna get a feel of what I'm feeling? Dig in.

I'm out of here cause 3 of my friends are already smiling :=)
