What the heck is that?

I learnt about Doof from a friend's blog and the first think that came to my mind was ...cute name but the pillow bag business? Hmmm.


That got me wondering...how do people choose the type of business to get into? Obviously, it's driven by the profit and/or passion motives, a mixture of logic and the heart to think there's a gap to be filled - like Wheel Love with their inline skating business. Niche market, esp in Malaysia, yet hoping that the idea will make them money to sustain their passion, or like Youth Malaysia, an online community nurturing young peeps who desire to be someone someday. But for Doof, what were their premise in getting their feet into the pillow bag business? Pillow bags are no new innovation, and I wouldn't dare pin failure in a consumerism world like ours. But to sustain the business with passion for pillows? Neh.

I don't know where this post is heading right now but I'm writing down as a reminder to ask the owners if I get to meet them one day.
